Commitment to Excellence
At Kuert Concrete we insist that our plants meet or exceed all the industry standards, so each of our our plants is
NRMCA certified. We take it a step further by training our drivers through a Mentor Driver program and certify our drivers
in the NRMCA's Certified Concrete Delivery Professionals program.
"Take care of the small things and the big
things will take care of themselves!" (Author unknown)
At Kuert Concrete we believe if we take exceptional
care of our people, they'll take exceptional care of our customers. To that
end, we implemented a new Driver's Program in 2002. Our "Commitment to Excellence" system
is both preventative and proactive, offering incentives to our drivers based
on:

Concrete Delivery Professional Certification
We are pleased to announce that 14 mixer drivers from Kuert Concrete recently graduated from the National Ready Mixed
Concrete Association's Concrete Delivery Professional (CDP) certification program.
The CDP program supplements our existing driver training program and reinforces key competencies a driver must have in
the areas of safety, product knowledge, environmental compliance, customer relations, and vehicle maintenance, and
operations. Ready mix producers report they have gained the appreciation of customers by certifying that their drivers
meet national industry operation standards. To date, more than 2,200 drivers have been CDP certified by NRMCA across
the U.S.
"We saw the value in CDP training and our certified drivers also saw the value as they voluntarily gave their time to
complete the program," said Kuert Vice President Greg Towner. "The ready mix business is very competitive here in Indiana
and having a professional mixer driver staff gives us a leg up on the competition." In
recognition of their achievement, Kuert held a graduation ceremony
at the Summit Club in downtown South Bend.
